This Privacy Policy explains how FinTrack SME ("the app", "we", "us") handles your information. FinTrack SME is developed by Brandon Dlamini. By using the app you agree to the practices described below.
FinTrack SME is an offline-first app. The financial records you create — income, expenses, contacts, branches and related notes — are stored locally on your device. We do not operate servers that collect your business data, and we do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
The following information is created by you and kept only on your device:
This data never leaves your device unless you choose to export or share it (for example, sharing a report). If you uninstall the app or use the "Clear all data" option, this information is deleted.
We do not collect your name, email, phone number, location, contacts list, or advertising identifiers on any server. The app does not require an account or sign-in.
FinTrack SME does not embed third-party advertising or analytics SDKs that track you. If a future version integrates an optional online service, this policy will be updated and your consent requested where required.
A future version of FinTrack SME may offer an optional, opt-in cloud backup of your accounts. Cloud backup is not part of the current app: no data is uploaded anywhere today. If and when you choose to enable cloud backup in a later version, this policy will be updated to explain exactly what is stored, where, and how you can delete it — and it will remain entirely your choice to turn on.
The app is intended for business owners and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Because your data is stored locally, its security depends largely on the security of your device. We recommend using a device lock screen and keeping your device software up to date.
You are in full control of your data. You can view, edit, or delete any record at any time from within the app, or remove all data using the "Clear all data" option in Settings.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
